Kaizer Chiefs – Full list: All 13 departures and who they have signed for

Kaizer Chiefs have released over a dozen players. Here’s who they are playing for now.

Kaizer Chiefs released these 13 players in the recent transfer window.

So, let’s take a look at who they will be playing for this season.


CONFIRMED CHIEFS EXITS AND WHO THEY’VE SIGNED FOR

  • Ranga Chivaviro (Al-Adalah)
  • Njabulo Blom (Nam Dinh FC) 
  • Sabelo Radebe*
  • Edmilson Dove (Ntandoyenkosi Nkosi)
  • Mduduzi Mdantsane*
  • Yusuf Maart (SV Reid)
  • Tebogo Potsane (Siwelele FC)
  • Bongani Sam*
  • Edson Castillo*
  • Ntandoyenkosi Nkosi (TS Galaxy)
  • Xolani Cossa (Black Lion, on loan)
  • Samkelo Zwane (Siwelele FC, on loan)
  • Happy Mashiane (Siwelele FC, on loan)

Chiefs have offloaded three players to PSL rivals so far.

DDC product, Nkosi is now playing for TS Galaxy. Meanwhile, Zwane and Mashiane will spend the duration of the 2025/26 season on loan at PSL rivals, Siwelele FC.

“On Monday, the deadline day, 22 September, the two clubs finalised a loan deal that will see Zwane and Mashiane play for the newly acquired team for the remainder of the 2025/26 season. Siwelele, looking to strengthen their squad for the season, could benefit from the pair’s arrival,” FarPost reported.

Additionally, several former Chiefs stars will now be plying their trade abroad.

Fan-favourite Blom is now playing for Nam Dinh FC in Vietnam. Additionally, ex-Amakhosi striker Chivaviro (Al-Adalah), former club captain Maart (SV Reid) and DDC product Cossa (Black Lions) are now playing abroad.

FOUR FREE AGENTS FROM AMAKHOSI

Meanwhile, several players released by Chiefs are currently clubless.

So, they are free agents. Meaning, they can sign for any prospective clubs in the PSL or abroad.

Radebe, Mdantsane, Sam and Edson Castillo are all available to be signed right now. Radebe was released by Chiefs after returning from his loan spell with Richards Bay. Similarly, Mdantsane was released after his loan spell with ‘The Natal Rich Boys’.

Meanwhile, ex-Orlando Pirates and Chiefs defender Sam has gone from signing for both Soweto giants to having no team to play for. Sam is currently in the market for a new club.

Finally, Castillo and his agents are also in the market for a new team.
