Kaizer Chiefs open contract extension talks with Peterson

Brandon Peterson has been Kaizer Chiefs’ first-choice goalkeeper this season.

The 31-year-old has made 18 appearances for the Glamour Boys. In total, he has an impressive 11 clean-sheets to his name.

With his current contract ending in June, management are reportedly keen on sorting an extension out before the action gets underway again.

According to SABC Sport, Peterson is a player Kaizer Chiefs are keen on keeping at Naturena.

The Amakhosi management team are reportedly already working on a new contract for him.

Since joining the club, Peterson has made 66 appearances for the Glamour Boys.

He has 29 clean-sheets for Kaizer Chiefs while conceding 56 goals in total.

Brandon Peterson is expected to play a major role for the club in 2026.
