Kaizer Chiefs assistant coach Khalil Ben Youssef has played down concerns over Nasreddine Nabi’s absence, insisting the technical team is running smoothly in his absence.

Amakhosi have started the 2025/26 Betway Premiership with two wins from two, beating Stellenbosch 2-0 away and Polokwane City 1-0 at home.

The bright start has occurred without Nabi on the bench, who is in Tunisia to support his wife after a household accident.

Kaizer Chiefs star accepts criticism

“We are a technical staff and all of us are familiar, and we work together,” Youssef told the media. “We keep contact every day.

“Every training session we discuss on zoom and every day we have meetings as the technical staff to discuss about all the players.

Kaizer Chiefs midfielder excites the fans

“We prepare for the game together, and while coach Nabi is not here physically, he is with us. We work together and are a team, we help each other, and we don’t think about who is here, who is not here.

“We are all a technical staff, and we work together,” the Tunisian assistant concluded.
