Chiefs’ current strikers don’t cut the mustard
New man Flavio Silva has given birth to plenty of memes online after his poor performances in pre-season in the Netherlands, but we’ll give him time for now. Relatively new arrival Tashreeq Morris is a veteran of the South African scene but hardly a long-term option at 31. Also, he’s never been the most prolific player. Shabalala on his way out?

The writing isn’t on the wall yet, however, and it’s up to the player to prove how much he wants to become a legend at the club. If big offers come in from any of the wealthy clubs in South Africa, or better yet, abroad, Chiefs might have to seriously consider them. The money could go towards two or even three new young prospects playing in South Africa.
Would Ighodaro solve Chiefs’ problem in front of goal or is he not the answer?
