Kaizer Chiefs announce travelling CAF squad

Kaizer Chiefs have announced their 22-man squad to face Angolan side Kabuscorp SCP in the first leg of the 2025/26 CAF Confederation Cup preliminary round.

Amakhosi will depart for Angola on Thursday afternoon, with the match being played on Saturday at 17:00. The match will be played at the Estádio 11 de Novembro.

Kaizer Chiefs come into the match having lost 3-1 to Sekhukhune United midweek. The loss was Amakhosi‘s first defeat of the season in six matches.

Will Nasreddine Nabi be part of Kaizer Chiefs’ bench?

Reports emerged on Wednesday that the Tunisian had parted ways with the Soweto giants. Chiefs are yet to confirm if indeed their coach has left but according to the latest statement from the club, the technical team selected 22 players to play in Angola.

The CAF Confederation Cup clash between Kaizer Chiefs and Kabuscorp SCP will kick off at 17:00 (SA Time). The match will be shown live on SABC 2, as well as the Kaizer Chiefs YouTube Channel.

Amakhosi return to Africa after a four-year absence. Having finished ninth in the Betway Premiership, the Soweto giants won the Nedbank Cup to book a spot in the CAF Confederation Cup.
