Kaizer Chiefs announce postponement of TS Galaxy fixture

Kaizer Chiefs have announced the postponement of their Betway Premiership fixture against TS Galaxy.

This encounter was initially scheduled to take place on 21 September at Mbombela Stadium.

However, Amakhosi will not be available as they will be playing their first CAF Confederation Cup match on that weekend.

Chiefs have a trip to Luanda, Angola where they are scheduled to face Kabuscorp Sport Clube do Palanca.

An earlier date (14 September) for the fixture between TS Galaxy and Chiefs was considered but that yielded no positive results.

And that’s because of the MTN8 final between Orlando Pirates and Stellenbosch FC that is penciled for 13 September at Mbombela Stadium.

Other alternatives were also explored in an attempt to bring this fixture forward but the logistics just couldn’t allow.

Chiefs said in a brief statement on Tuesday that a new date for their match against TS Galaxy will be communicated.
