IDiski TV analysts Junior Khanye and Benedict Tso Vilakazi have given contrasting predictions for the MTN 8 semi-final second leg between Mamelodi Sundowns and Orlando Pirates.
The two sides head into the deciding tie in Pretoria locked at 1-1 from the first leg at Orlando Stadium last week.
The winner of the second leg will advance to the final but a goalless draw will be enough for Sundowns to progress, while a 1-1 draw will see the game decided on penalties and any other high-scoring draw would see Pirates reach the final.
Former Kaizer Chiefs winger Khanye has predicted that Sundowns will win the game by more than a goal.
“Sundowns is going to win 3-1,” said Khanye on IDiski TV.
“I know Pirates are going to score a goal but they failed to beat Sundowns in their home in Orlando in front of their home supporters.
“I can tell you that in Pretoria they are going to concede three. They are not an ordinary team, they are a very good side but I don’t think they will absorb the pressure because they have a different team and the coach there is still question marks on him.
“[Iqraam] Rayners is going to score, if not two he is going to score one.”
Meanwhile, for Tso it’s the Buccaneers who will go through without conceding.
“This one I’m just going to say it once. I’m not going to repeat it,” said Tso.
“If you didn’t hear then you’ll see it, Pirates 2-0 Sundowns.
“It’s going to happen like that, that’s what I saw on Tuesday.”
