Junior Questions Exclusion Of In-Form Duo In Bafana

Posted on October 12, 2025

iDiski TV analyst Junior Khanye has questioned why Sekhukhune United duo Bradley Grobler and Keletso Makgalwa are not featuring in the Bafana Bafana fold.

The attacking pair have been in superb form this campaign for Babina Noko with the ‘Sniper’ notching up eight goals with a single assist in 12 outings across all competitions while Makgalwa has five assists to his name in all competitions.

After Bafana were held to a 0-0 draw by Zimbabwe in their penultimate 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers clash, which has put their hopes of qualifying on hold, Khanye questioned by Hugo Broos has excluded the two players.

“Why Grober was not there? It’s a question for me. Why Keletso Makgalwa is not involved in the national team?” he said on iDiski TV.

“The reason I’m asking, if we see the Yaya’s [Sphephelo Sithole] from nowhere to be seen and coming and starting the game, then I’m raising questions to the coach.”
