iDiski TV analyst Junior Khanye has described Katlego “Tsiki” Ntsabeleng as a ‘talent with football knowledge’ following his first goal for Mamelodi Sundowns at the weekend.
Ntsabeleng returned to the Brazilians on a season-long loan deal from US-based outfit FC Dallas having made his football breakthrough in the Sundowns youth structures in 2017 before joining Kaizer Chiefs.
The 27-year-old was a second-half substitute for Peter Shalulile, going on to register a goal as Sundowns brushed aside Nigerian champions Remo Stars 5-1 in their CAF Champions League second preliminary round 1st leg clash.
“I’m happy to his boy Ntsabeleng. He came to the team that has seasoned players,” Khanye told iDiski TV.
“They hardly play with youngsters at Sundowns. Quality seasoned players not just ordinary players.
“Ntsabeleng is a boy who comes from, grew up at Stars of Africa [Academy], he played for Chiefs raised by Farouk [Khan]. He has football knowledge, very talented. I know him.
“I’m happy for the boy because he’s in some shoes. He’s in the shoes of Mshishi [Themba Zwane] this boy. He’s in the shoes of [Lucas] Ribeiro. He’s not a player similar to Ribeiro but he’s got talent Mshishi-wise.
“I love him because he’s a boy that scores. His scoring is gonna help him going forward.”
