The 27-year-old, who joined Kaizer Chiefs at the start of the campaign after leaving English side Port Vale, had endured a lengthy seven-month wait before finally making his debut in Amakhosi colours.
That long-awaited appearance came in the Betway Premiership defeat to Stellenbosch FC, and Chislett followed it up with another start in the Soweto Derby against Orlando Pirates at FNB Stadium, before featuring again in Chiefs’ narrow 1-0 loss away to Richards Bay.

However, when the team sheets were announced ahead of the Durban City encounter, the Durban-born attacker was absent.
The club later confirmed the reason for his omission. “The last forced change is that of Ethan Chislett who is out with a hamstring strain,” Amakhosi said on their website.
Despite the late injury setback, Kaizer Chiefs still managed to secure a valuable result on Sunday afternoon as they edged Durban City 1-0 at FNB Stadium.
Glody Lilepo proved to be the difference-maker when he found the back of the net in the 69th minute, ensuring that Amakhosi returned to winning ways and climbed to fifth place in the Betway Premiership standings.
Kaizer Chiefs will now turn their attention to their next assignment, with a trip to Moses Mabhida Stadium scheduled for Saturday, 21 March, where they will face Magesi FC.
