Kaizer Chiefs get their CAF Confederation Cup campaign underway this afternoon in Angola.

The Glamour Boys travel to the 11 de Novembro Stadium in Luanda to face Kabuscorp in the first preliminary round.

The last time the Glamour Boys appeared in the Confederation Cup was all the way back in 2018.

This time around, Kaizer Chiefs will be hoping to make it pass the preliminary round and qualify for the group stages.

Kabuscorp vs Kaizer Chiefs: Match details

Today’s first-leg preliminary round match is scheduled to get underway at 17:00 SAST.

The match will be televised live on SABC 2. And if you can’t get yourself to a TV screen, you can live stream the clash on SABC+.

Kaizer Chiefs will host Kabuscorp in Johannesburg a week later, in the second leg.

Amakhosi’s form

The Glamour Boys will be looking to bounce back from their maiden loss this season.

In their previous outing, Kaizer Chiefs were brought back down to earth by Sekhukhune United in a league match.

Chiefs were defeated 3-1, ending their unbeaten streak to the 2025/26 campaign.

Following a fall out with head coach Nasreddine Nabi, Khalil Ben Youssef and Cedric Kaze are due to lead the team in Luanda.
