Gallants & Chiefs Starting XIs Confirmed

Posted on January 29, 2026

Kaizer Chiefs and Marumo Gallants have confirmed their starting line-ups for tonight’s Betway Premiership encounter at the Dr Petrus Molemela Stadium in Bloemfontein.

The Glamour Boys could move second on the log standings behind leaders Mamelodi Sundowns should they come away from the City of Roses with maximum points.

Amakhosi restarted the 2025/26 league campaign with a hard fought 1-0 win over Golden Arrows before following that up with another 1-0 victory over ZESCO United in the CAF Confederation Cup.

Bahlabane Ba Ntwa on the other hand fell to a 2-0 defeat to TS Galaxy last week in Polokwane but a victory at home could propel them closer to the top eight bracket.

In the seven head-to-head meetings between the sides, Amakhosi has come away with two wins, losing once while four ties have ended in stalemates.

Here’s how both teams will square up:

Gallants Starting XI: Arubi, Mabotja, Ncube, Ndlondlo, Eroine, Sithole, Sikhosana, Otladisa, Mabuza, Mphambaniso, Bance

Subs: Mlmabo, Luthuli, Kunene, Mwinde, Nhlapo, Khumalo, Ouattara, Clifford, Mhlongo

Chiefs Starting XI: Petersen, Mako, McCarthy, Kwinika, Monyane, Ngcobo, Maboe, Shabalala, Velebayi, Lilepo, Mayo

Subs: Bvuma, Msimango, Solomons, Ndlovu, Mabaso, Sirino, Da Silva, Vilakazi, Baartman
