Four remain, when is the LONG break?

Posted on November 4, 2025

Kaizer Chiefs only have four Betway Premiership fixtures left in the calendar year 2025. Then the league goes on a long break.

Chiefs beat Durban City last time out to retain fourth place on the log.

What’s loading for the Glamour Boys?

Remaining Chiefs fixtures for 2025

Next up is a clash with Orbit College, the first of four remaining fixtures this year. Between that fixture against Chippa on 3 December and their next outing, Chiefs will have a whopping 55 days to wait until their next assignment, a trip to Marumo Gallants on 27 January 2026.

  • Tue, 4 November: Chiefs vs Orbit College, FNB Stadium at 19:30
  • Sat, 22 November: Magesi vs Chiefs, Peter Mokaba Stadium at 18:00
  • Sun, 30 Nov: Chiefs vs Golden Arrows, FNB Stadium at 18:00
  • Wed, 3 Dec: Chippa vs Chiefs, Nelson Mandela Stadium at 19:30

Kaizer Chiefs likely XI vs Orbit College

Petersen; Solomons, Kwinika, McCarthy, Cross; Cele, Mthethwa; Sirino, Shabalala, Lilepo; Silva.

We could see long-serving defender Zitha Kwinika come in for the suspended Inacio Miguel. Meanwhile, Thabo Cele is a candidate for a slot in midfield, potentially at the expense of Nkosingiphile Ngcobo.

Recapping Kaizer Chiefs’ last outing

Meanwhile, Chiefs beat old boss Gavin Hunt’s Durban City side 1-0 on Friday, thanks to an 88th-minute strike from new signing Flavio Silva. It’s Chiefs’ fifth win of the league campaign and keeps them in the mix of the title race, for now. He’s already got three goals in the league. Dillan Solomons, Inacio Miguel, Aden McCarthy and Bradley Cross formed the back four with Nkosingiphile Ngcobo and Sibongiseni Mthethwa ahead of them. Gaston Sirino’s assist off the bench was his first of the campaign. With Miguel picking up a booking, he’s suspended for Chiefs’ next game, so another enforced change is looming. Rushwin Dortley and Given Msimango are still injured, so this is hardly ideal. Their next assignment is on Tuesday, 4 November against Orbit College. Kickoff is at 19:30.
