Foster Reacts To Man United Defeat

Bafana Bafana striker Lyle Foster felt guttered after their defeat to Manchester United in the English Premier League on Saturday afternoon.

The Burnley marksman netted the equaliser in the 55th minute to level matters at 1-1 and was unfortunate to see his second goal chalked off by VAR as they eventually lost the tie 3-2 at Old Trafford.

The 24-year-old South African international could not hide his disappointment and felt that they deserved something more than a defeat from the match.

“Disappointed. I feel like we did really well and for the game to end the way that it ended, it just feels like it breaks our hearts,” he told the club’s media.

“I feel like we deserved something from the game and for it to end in that way, it was a bit unjust.

“And it is what it is. Unfortunate but yeah we played really well and I think we can be proud going forward.”
