Former Pirates Midfielder Motshwari Lands New PSL Club

Posted on November 19, 2025

Newly promoted Betway Premiership side Orbit College have completed the signing of Ben Motshwari.

iDiski Times has been reliably informed that Orbit completed the signing of Motshwari as a free agent after he was released by AmaZulu FC a few weeks ago.

The 34-year-old joins his former colleague Ramahlwe Mphahlele, who recently also joined the Mswenko Boys as a free agent after he was released by Usuthu.

Motshwari, though, is only eligible to play for Orbit in January since he was released outside the transfer window by AmaZulu and can only be registered once the window opens again.

Motshwari brings a vast experience to Mswenko Boys after making over 200 appearances in the topflight football, winning one league title with Bidvest Wits.

College are currently sitting in 13th place with 13 points after 12 games. They have three games remaining before the long break for the Africa Cup of Nations.
