Former Kaizer Chiefs fan-favourite finds a new home

Posted on November 20, 2025

Many players have made a name for themselves at Kaizer Chiefs over the years.

Majority of the time, a move to the Glamour Boys catapults players into household names.

On occasion however, the complete opposite happens. A talented player struggles to swim with the big boys at Naturena, and literally disappears.

Such was the case for midfield maestro Siphelele Ntshangase.

Former Kaizer Chiefs ace joins new club

Ntshangase joined Kaizer Chiefs in a blockbuster transfer back in 2018.

After performing for Baroka FC, he looked like he was almost certainly heading for the top.

Unfortunately for the midfield genius, life in Soweto proved to be a step too high.

Ntshangase was released by Kaizer Chiefs just three seasons later after failing to impress the club’s bosses.

In total, the 32-year-old midfielder made 38 appearances for the club. He had just two assists to show for his time at Naturena.

He later had spells at both Marumo Gallants and Black Leopards. Unfortunately for the former Bafana Bafana midfielder, he didn’t look the same.

Now, the talented former Kaizer Chiefs midfielder has joined a new club in South Africa’s third tier.

Ntshangase has signed for Limpopo ABC Motsepe League side Mohlabile United, according to FARPost.

Ntshangase’s PSL run

In total, Ntshangase made 58 appearances in the PSL. He scored two goals while assisting five more. He also has two Bafana Bafana goals to his name.
