Former Chiefs Striker Continues To Shine

Posted on July 23, 2025

Former Kaizer Chiefs striker Efmamjjasond González has continued his goalscoring exploits since joining Chinese League 1 side SJZ Gongfu.

González recently joined SJZ Gongfu from Bolivian side Always Ready FC on a one-year deal after the 26-year-old scored 12 goals in 16 matches.

The Colombian striker failed to score a single goal during his loan stint at Naturena which prompted Chiefs not to sign him permanently though he has since enjoyed being a goalscoring machine in front of goal.

He has already scored two goals for Gongfu in two games and is proving to be a pivotal signing for the Chinese side as they aim to get promotion to the Super League.

Gongfu are currently sitting in fifth place with 28 points in 17 games.
