Posted on October 31, 2025

Mamelodi Sundowns are set to be without no less than five key players for this weekend’s clash against Orlando Pirates.

The two giants meet at Loftus on Saturday afternoon for an eagerly anticipated league clash.

It is indeed a six-pointer! Sundowns head into the clash with a three point lead over the Buccaneers. However, Orlando Pirates have played two games less!

The Buccaneers have since been given some good news ahead of the clash.

Teboho Mokoena and Miguel Reisinho have both been ruled out of the match. The Mamelodi Sundowns duo are suspended for Saturday’s clash.

Furthermore, Themba Zwane misses out through injury. Key defender Malibongwe Khoza has also been ruled out through injury while Kutlwano Lethlaku is also injured.

This means that Miguel Cardoso will be without five key players on Saturday!

All roads lead to Loftus

South Africa will come to a standstill on Saturday afternoon when Sundowns host Orlando Pirates.

Action at Loftus Versfeld Stadium is scheduled to begin at 15:30. Both teams will be desperate for a full-three points!

“Well, we all know that classic games like this one are lived by people in a different way. From the fans to the media, to the PSL, everyone treats this differently. But for coaches, it’s just another match,” Sundowns coach Miguel Cardoso said as quoted by Soccer Laduma.
