Ex-Chiefs Strikers Score In Pulsating Saudi Draw

Posted on February 20, 2026

Former Kaizer Chiefs strike duo Ranga Chivaviro and Bonfils-Caleb Bimenyimana found the back of the net on opposite ends in a pulsating 2-2 draw in the Saudi First Division.

The clash between Al Adalah and Jeddah SC produced late drama with both players getting on the scoresheet on Thursday night.

Chivaviro, 33, completed a move to the Saudi Arabian outfit on a free transfer in September 2025 and is now just three goals shy of equalling his tally during his two-season spell at Amakhosi.

28-year-old Bimenyimana on the other hand has club-hopped since leaving Chiefs in 2023, turning out for the likes of Al-Ahli Tripoli, Zob Ahan and USM Alger before completing the move to Jeddah, also in September 2025.

Adalah fell behind to a Mohammed Al-Saiari penalty in the 45th minute but struck back just three minutes later through Joshua Mutale who made it 1-1.

The home side then took the lead through the South African marksman in the 57th minute for his second goal in back-to-back matches but Bimenyimana had the last laugh as he headed past Mohammed Al-Dawsari in the 98th minute for a share of the spoils.

Chivaviro’s tally now stands at eight goals in his last nine outings with a single assist in 18 appearances across all competitions with Bimenyimana netting his fifth goal of the season with no assists in 13 matches in all competitions.

Al Adalah now take the trip to Al Zulfi for their next league match on Wednesday, 25 February, with Jeddah at home against Al Diriyah on the same day.
