Ex-Chiefs Duo Crowned League Champions

Posted on November 3, 2025

The former Kaizer Chiefs duo of Knowledge Musona and Khama Billiat won their first trophy in Zimbabwe after aiding rookies Scottland FC to the 2025 Castle Lager Premier Soccer League title glory this past weekend.

Scottland wrapped up the championship after thumping bottom-of-the-table Kwekwe United 5-1 at Ascot Stadium in Gweru on Sunday for their maiden topflight crown in their debut top-flight season.

The newly-crowned league champions amassed 65 points from 32 games, winning 19, drawing eight and losing just five as they pipped MWOS FC to the title by seven points.

Billiat recorded his name on the scoresheet with Tymon Machope netting a brace while Tadiwanasehe Chakuchichi also scored and former Chippa United left-back Ronald Pfumbidzai completed the rout.
