SA-born billionaire Elon Musk is considering buying one of the biggest clubs in Europe.
South African billionaire, Elon Musk, is interested in buying English Premier League giants, Liverpool.
Therefore, he could own the EPL-based giants if the deal is successful.
MUSK WANTS TO BUY LIVERPOOL
Musks father Errol confirmed that his son, Elon wants to buy Liverpool.
“I can’t comment on that, they’ll raise the price! Oh yes, [he (Musk) has expressed a desire], but that doesn’t mean he’s buying it. He would like to yes, obviously. Anybody would want to – so would I. His grandmother was born in Liverpool, and we have relatives in Liverpool, and we were fortunate to know quite a few of the Beatles because they grew up with some of my family. So, we are attached to Liverpool you know,” said Errol Mush, the father of Elon on iHeart Radio.
Furthermore, as the world’s richest man, finance is no issue for Musk.
However, given his financial status (Elon’s) his father was hesitant to confirm his plans. This, in order to ensure the EPL giants do not increase the price knowing that one of the world’s richest men is interested in purchasing the club.
LIVERPOOL ARE CURRENTLY ONE OF THE BEST TEAMS IN EUROPE
EPL giants Liverpool currently sit on top of the UEFA Champions League and English Premier League.
Moreover, they are the favourites to win the EPL and one of the favourites to win the UCL.
Therefore, they would be another huge investment for Musk given their tremendous advertising power.
Meanwhile, at the time of publication, Musk’s net worth is believed to be worth roughly $415.8 billion according to Forbes. So, basically any purchase is on the cards for the SA-born billionaire.
