Edition 240 – Chiefs & Khoza

Posted on February 1, 2026

The 240th edition of iDiski Times is out now — packed with features, exclusive interviews, and powerful voices from across the football world.

While other clubs have had a busy window, there’s been no first-team signings at Kaizer Chiefs, and Matshelane Mamabolo spoke to Farouk Khan, Brian Baloyi and David Kannemeyer about that decision, and what the club needs to do.

This week, we also celebrate Dr Irvin Khoza’s 78th birthday, and Bra Jakes brings us more about the Orlando Pirates and Premier Soccer League chairman.

Lethabo Kganyago caught up with Rhoda Mulaudzi to find out more about his transition from Banyana Banyana player to being a coach for Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies, where she is currently assisting Godfrey Sapula.

Rob Delport, meanwhile, caught up with former Bloemfontein Celtic and Mamelodi Sundowns left back, Sifiso Ngobeni, who is on a strong comeback trail at Cape Town City this season.

With the Betway Premiership back, we’re bringing you iDiski’s Top Ten — and this week we’re looking at the top ten right wingers in the first half of the season.

All that, plus the latest whispers from the Rumour Mill, and we start looking at South African football’s relationship and history outside of our borders in the World & South Africa.
