Newly promoted Betway Premiership side Durban City are in talks with Cape Town City about the signing of Luphumlo ‘Kaka’ Sifumba.
Sifumba, 20, returned to South Africa just before the end of last season after spending six months on loan at FC Vizela in Portugal.
After he was registered just towards the end of the 2024/25 campaign at CT City, he only played 56 minutes in the last game of the PSL promotional playoffs against Casric Stars, producing one assist.
As first reported by FARPost, Sifumba is close to joining Durban City, with talks ongoing between the two clubs.
The CT City youth development player, whose contract with CT City expires in June 2026, is already in Durban training with Gavin Hunt’s side.
The Team of Choice has time on their side as the PSL window transfer will only close on 22nd September.
