Done Deal: Kapinga Lands New PSL Club

Posted on February 12, 2026

ORBIT College have completed the signing of former Mamelodi Sundowns and Orlando Pirates midfielder Lesedi Kapinga.

Latest information received by this publication states that Kapinga has completed a move to Orbit in a deal that will see him stay at the club until end of the season.

The 30-year old has been without a team since July last year when he was released by Sekhukhune United. Kapinga had a promising career when he started at Black Leopards and was up snatched by Sundowns.

He won three league titles with Masandawana before leaving the club to join Pirates and went on to win MTN8 and Nedbank Cup. Kapinga played over 117 matches in professional football, scoring 12 goals and contributing with 17 assists.
