Motsepe Foundation Championship side Cape Town City have completed the signing of former Al Ahly SC striker Walter Bwalya.

iDiski Times can exclusively confirm that City completed the signing of the former Al Ahly striker on a free transfer after he left Algerian giants JS Kabylie.

The 30-year-old has been linked with a move to South Africa before when Kaizer Chiefs were interested in signing him back in 2023 but the move never materialised.

Bwalya is already in South Africa ahead of his move to City, and he is excpted to be announced by the Cape Town-based side on Friday.

The DRC striker is a CAF Champions League winner with Al Ahly SC back in 2020/21. He is expected to add his value to the City team, as they aim to bounce back to the Betway Premiership.
