De Reuck Set For Surprise Move

Posted on July 25, 2025

Mamelodi Sundowns defender Rushine De Reuck is set for a surprise move to Tanzania Premier League side Simba SC ahead of the new season.

The 29-year-old defender spent the second half of last season on loan at Maccabi Petah Tikva where he featured in four games, and he will now be embarking on a new journey after four years with Sundowns.

He joined Masandawana as the Premier Soccer League Defender of the Season, whilst with Maritzburg United, in 2021, where he was working under current Simba head coach Fadlu Davids.

Sources close to the club have confirmed he has penned a one-year deal with the East African giants who are aiming to strengthen their squad to challenge for domestic honours and for their return to the CAF Champions League this season.

Davids’ side fell in the final of the CAF Confederation Cup to RS Berkane last season and ended his debut season without silverware.
