Date, Kickoff Time, TV channel, Nedbank Cup

Posted on February 6, 2026

Orlando Pirates will kick off their Nedbank Cup campaign with a Round of 32 clash against Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila at Moses Mabhida Stadium this Saturday.

The Buccaneers went all the way to the final last season, where they lost 2-1 to their rivals, Kaizer Chiefs, in the final. Having won the Nedbank Cup back-to-back before then, the Sea Robbers were beaten in a domestic final for the first time in six years, having won six straight finals.

With two trophies in the bag, Orlando Pirates have one more domestic trophy up for grabs. With a three-point lead in the Betway Premiership, a treble or quadruple is on the cards for Abdeslam Ouaddou’s men.

With the quality they have, the Sea Robbers can claim two more trophies this season to become the first South African side to claim a quadruple.

Can Orlando Pirates beat TTM?

The Buccaneers and TTM have only met twice previously, with both their prior clashes coming in the 2020/21 league campaign. Pirates were victorious away from home in their first encounter with Tshakhuma. The second round finished goalless after a punishing 90 minutes.

What time does Tsakuma host Pirates?

The match kicks off at 15:00 and will be broadcast live on SuperSport PSL and SABC 1. The Buccaneers have reached three consecutive Nedbank Cup finals and will aim to claim their 11th title.

With the game being played at the Moses Mabhida Stadium, it advantage Orlando Pirates having played at the same stadium against AmaZulu midweek.
