Orlando Pirates midfielder Cemran Dansin has reflected on immediate success he’s had with the club.
The 20-year-old made his debut for the senior team towards the end of the previous season under the tutelage of Jose Riveiro.
His involvement has increased significantly this season under Abdeslam Ouaddou, who surprised many by handing him a start in a blockbuster encounter against Mamelodi Sundowns, where he repaid the faith with a spectacular strike.
Dansin has made a total of eight appearances across all competitions, scoring one goal and providing one assist in the process.
He has won two trophies – MTN8 and Carling Knockout Cup and has described this year as a “special” one for his career.
“It’s been a great year for me, achieving so much in such a short space of time. It’s a very special year for me,” said Dansin.
With regards to being coached by Ouaddou, Dansin said, “With coach Ouaddou, all you need to do is apply yourself, work hard and the rest will happen.”
Dansin says it’s easy to adapt at Pirates because of the unity and the support among the group.
“We have a good group, the guys support each other, you never feel like you’re alone,” he added.
“So, it’s easy applying yourself and show what you can do.”
