Dansin and Sebelebele have unfinished business with Sundowns

Posted on February 17, 2026

Orlando Pirates will be looking at Kamogelo Sebelebele to do the magic once again against Mamelodi Sundowns

The 23-year-old speedy winger has scored two goals in two matches against the Brazilians this season.

Sebelebele became an immediate fan favourite when he scored back-to-back goals against Sundowns in the MTN8 first and second legs. The Buccaneers went on to win the tie on penalties before lifting their fourth consecutive MTN8 trophy.

Since his heroics, the utility wing-back has been relatively quiet. An injury mid-season did not help his cause, as he was out of the team for months.

In recent weeks, he has played several matches for Pirates but hasn’t looked like the player who exploided to the scene during the MTN8.

Against Sundowns, Sebelebele might just start at right wing if Abdeslam Ouaddou decide to play a compact game. The versatile attacker can also track back and play as a right midfielder or right-back.

Having beaten Ronwen Williams twice, the former TS Galaxy star will be hoping to get minutes to run at the Downs defence.

Another Pirates player who could make a return is 20-year-old Cemran Dansin. The last time the two teams met, the young midfielder scored the equaliser to force a 1-1 draw.

At just 20, Dansin stunned the Loftus Versfeld crowd with a thunderous equaliser, which was voted Betway Premiership Goal of the Month in November.

Although he didn’t have a great match, the youngster announced himself in style to the Bucs faithful and he would be eager to show his class against the reigning PSL champions.
