CT City Lose As Casric Stretch Unbeaten Run

Table-topping Casric Stars maintained their unbeaten run with a come-from-behind 2-1 win over wasteful Lerumo Lions and Cape Town City are yet to win in this season’s Motsepe Foundation Championship.

Gomora United find themselves in the top half of the table after also recording a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Baroka FC after trailing.

The clash between Highbury FC and The Bees ended in a 1-1 stalemate with Kruger United and University of Pretoria also playing out the same scoreline in their tie.

Cape Town City now languish in 14th spot after losing 1-0 to Milford FC. Hungry Lions picked up the biggest result of the weekend after thumping Venda FC 3-1.

Limpopo outfit Black Leopards, who are rooted at the foot of the table, succumbed to a narrow 1-0 loss away to Leicesterford City.

Upington City made a huge leap into the top three after seeing off Midland Wanderers 2-1 at home.
