Confirmed Orlando Pirates line-up vs Sekhukhune United

Posted on January 24, 2026

Sekhukhune United are hosting Soweto giants Orlando Pirates at the Peter Mokaba Stadium at 15:30.

Coach Adbeslam Ouaddou has made two standout changes in midfield and attack. Makhehleni Makhaula is back from his injury layoff to replace the freshly injured Sihle Nduli.

In the frontline, Kamohelo Sebelebele starts ahead of Oswin Appollis and Relebohile Mofokeng.

Three points will lift coach Ouaddou’s side to the top of the league, where Mamelodi Sundowns currently sit with a one-point lead.

Orlando Pirates’ new signing Mpho Chabatsane has been named on the bench, while fellow newcomers Andre de Jong and Daniel Msendami have been left out of the matchday squad.

Sekhukhune United, coached by Eric Tinkler, sit fourth on the table with 25 points from 14 matches, having recorded seven wins, four draws and three defeats so far this season.

During the January transfer window, Sekhukhune strengthened their attacking options by adding Tidiane Diomandé and Lehlohonolo Mojela, while also bringing in Ronaldo Maarman and Sphiwe Mahlangu to inject pace and creativity into their frontline.

Meanwhile, promising young defender Medupi Thokolo earned a promotion from the club’s development ranks after catching the eye of the coaching staff.

Babina Noko will be eager to return to winning ways after suffering a 1-0 defeat to Stellenbosch FC in midweek.

Orlando Pirates: Chaine, van Rooyen, Sibisi, Seema, Ndaba, Makhaula, Mbatha, Maswanganyi, Sebelebele, Moremi, Magkopa.

Substitutes: Buthelezi, Chabatsane, Hotto, Mariko, Dansin, Mofokeng, Appollis, Mbuthuma.

Sekhukhune United: To be confirmed.
