Chiefs talk about their pre-season preparations

Kaizer Chiefs have been posting numerous pre-season preparations photos on their social media platforms. This is done deliberately, as they want to allow their supporters to be familiar with the process that the players had to through in order to regarded as Chiefs players. Also, there’s a lot of work that’s done behind the scenes before a player makes it to the match day squad. With the DStv Premiership closed, this has given Amakhosi management to bond with their fans, players and backroom staff. Which will be useful in building a stronger unity with everyone associated with the club.

One thing for sure, when looking at the images posted by Chiefs online, it’s visible that most players are ready to fight their positions. It’s going to be difficult for anyone to easily the revamped technical team’s hearts, but nothing beats consistency and dedication. The Soweto giants will have to travel to Tanzania and Botswana as part of their pre-season preparations whereby they’ll some friendly games against certain teams. This will allow the new head coach Molefi Ntseki to see where they stand as a team in terms of their readiness for a new campaign. “These two matches against excellent teams will give me a chance to thoroughly evaluate our players and assess the team’s readiness in a competitive match environment,” said Ntseki as quoted by the club.

In most cases, Chiefs would travel within the country and stay on camp before they commerce the new season. This allows the new, and exist players to get to know each better and build a chemistry that will destroy their opponents. As they’ll get to be involved in hardcore training sessions with some good times in the mix too whereby players get to sing, dance and even play some indoor games.
