Young Kaizer Chiefs striker Naledi Hlongwane has affirmed that they are targeting a top three finish in the upcoming 2025/26 Betway Premiership season.

Amakhosi finished the previous term in a low ninth spot, missing out on the MTN8 for the second season running, though they capped off a disastrous campaign with the Nedbank Cup crown.

The 20-year-old striker who looks set to feature for the senior side next season maintained that they have shifted their focus and wish to crack one of the top three spots.

“We want to go all out this season,” Hlongwane told the club’s official website.

“It’s a new opportunity to do well, in the league, the cups, the Confederation Cup.

“Ask all the players, we really want to challenge for a top three position.”

The Glamour Boys finish their pre-season with the Toyota Cup against Ghanaian giants Asante Kotoko at the Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban on Saturday, 26 July.
