Chiefs Star Extends Contract – iDiski Times

Kaizer Chiefs midfielder George Matlou has penned a contract extension with the club, continuing his stay at Naturena.

The 27-year-old has been with Amakhosi for three seasons, having joined them at the start of the 2022/23 season from the now-defunct Moroka Swallows.

The player was linked with an exit from the club towards the end of the previous campaign. However, his agency, MSC Sports Talent has confirmed that the former Bidvest Wits man will be continuing with the Phefeni Glamour Boys.

“George Matlou commits to the journey. The midfielder extends his stay with the Amakhosi,” the agency announced.

Matlour has made only one appearance this season, so far featuring in the 1-0 triumph over Lamontville Golden Arrows in the Betway Premiership last Saturday.

Meanwhile, during his stay at Chiefs, he has racked up 41 appearances and registering three assists in the process.
