Chiefs & Richards Bay Gun For Perfect Start

Posted on September 20, 2025

Kaizer Chiefs and Richards Bay aim to keep their perfect start of the season ahead of match day three in this weekend’s DStv Diski Challenge ties.

Solomon Mahlangu Stadium is the place to be this coming weekend with Orlando Pirates facing Chippa United to kick off the things. Buccaneers are currently on four points after a 3-3 draw against Durban City in the opening day and 1-0 win over Siwelele FC. On the other hand, Chippa have won one game which was against Golden Arrows and lost their opening game against Polokwane City.

Mamelodi Sundowns and Durban City will close Saturday. Downs played to a draw against Siwelele FC and defeated Marumo Gallants 3-1 after coming from a goal down.

Sunday is no longer for lovers but for footballers as Magesi FC do battle with renamed Siwelele FC in what is expected to be a mouthwatering considering that both teams are struggling to get wins. Dikwena Tsa Meetse have gone 11 matches without a win. Meanwhile, Siwelele started the season with a win and a draw.

Defending champions, Chiefs tackle TS Galaxy in a humdinger. Amakhosi started the season like a house on fire after winning both games against Orbit College and Stellenbosch FC. Galaxy suffered a 3-2 defeat in their opening game against Gallants and narrowly beat Durban City 1-0.
