CAF Unveils Draw Results For FIFA U17 Women’s WC Qualifiers

Posted on January 15, 2026

CAF has announced the results of the draw for the FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup African Qualifiers slated for April this year.

South Africa will face Central Africa Republic in the first round with the first leg away on the weekend of 10-12 April and the second leg a weekend later at home.

There will be three rounds of qualifiers and the last remaining four nations will qualify for the 2026 edition of the U17 World Cup to be held in Morocco.

For the 2025 World Cup, South Africa was knocked out in the final round of the qualifying campaign going down 5-1 on aggregate to Nigeria over two legs last March.

Bantwana have previously qualified for the World Cup twice in 2010 and in 2018.
