Five-time FIFA World Cup winners, Brazil, are believed to have set their sights on Bafana Bafana for a potential blockbuster friendly this November.
With the 2026 World Cup edging closer, the Seleção are actively seeking high-quality opposition outside South America, and African opposition has become a target for warm-up matches – with Egypt, Morocco, Tunisia first and South Africa firmly on Brazil’s radar.
According to reports out of Egypt, the Pharaohs have already turned down Brazil’s advances, creating a smaller pool of possible African opponents. That leaves Bafana in active discussions with the Brazilians, alongside Tunisia and Morocco, who are also being courted.
Bafana are set to play their final two World Cup qualifiers in October, and with the Africa Cup of Nations set to be played from December, they have yet to confirm any fixtures for November.
