Mamelodi Sundowns defender Fawaaz Basadien has revealed Khuliso Mudau as the toughest player he has played against admitting that he’s since learnt from the Bafana Bafana right-back.
Basadien joined the Brazilians at the beginning of the current campaign from Stellenbosch FC though he’s been limited to just seven appearances so far with competition at the star-studded outfit fierce.
The 29-year-old has opened up on how ‘Sailor’ was a tough opponent but now gets to learn from him as his teammate.
“Khuliso Mudau was always a challenge,” he told the Sundowns magazine.
“His pace, positioning and recovery made it difficult to get the better of him. Watching him play pushed me to improve my own game and now, as teammates.
“I am excited to learn from his experience and integrate that into my own performances.”
