Baroka Thump CT City, Leopards Hammer The Bees

Cape Town City suffered a heavy 3-1 defeat away to Baroka while Black Leopards picked up a huge win 4-1 after hammering The Bees in Sunday’s Motsepe Foundation Challenge.

City took a 1-0 healftime lead through Heaven Sereetsi but Bakgakga came back strong in the second period scoring via Isaac Shongoane, Siyabonga Vilane and David Mothipi.

In the battle of the lions between Lerumo Lions and Hungry Lions, the tie ended in a 1-1 draw.

Lidoda Duvha hammered The Bees 4-1 with strikes from Mwape Musonda, Bethuel Muzeu and Leope Lephalala while Enocent Mkhabela netted the consolation for the hosts.

Gomora United and Casric Stars played to a dull 0-0 draw at TUT Stadium.
