Banyana Starting XI Vs Senegal Announced

Banyana Banyana and Senegal have announced their starting line-ups for their Women’s African Cup of Nations quarter-final.

Banyana had a good run in the group stages, topping Group C after winning two games, beating Ghana and Mali, while playing a draw with Tanzania.

Desiree Ellis’ side have managed to score seven goals after their rousing 4-0 over Mali, and they conceded just one goal in the 1-1 draw with Tanzania.

Meanwhile, Senegal came third in Group A – they started their tournament with a 4-0 over DR congo but then lost 3-2 to Zambia and 1-0 to Morocco.

South Africa are facing Senegal for the third time after a double-header in June 2024 when Banyana won one 2-0 and the other ended 1-1.

Here’s how they line up: 

Banyana XI: Dlamini, Dhlamini, Mbane, Makhubela, Magama, Jane, Holweni, Motlhalo, Ramalepe, Seoposenwe, Magaia

Subs: Cesane, Gamede, Mthandi, Mohlakoana, Motau, Mogolola, salgado, Mhlongo, Swart, Magalula

Senegal XI: tbc.
