Bafana Bafana have named their starting line-up for their penultimate Group C 2024 African Nations Championship encounter against Niger at the Mandela National Stadium.

South Africa is on the brink of making it into the knockout stages should they come away with a win after they beat Guinea 2-1 in their previous tie while Niger suffered a 2-0 defeat to co-hosts Uganda.

Bafana and Niger have clashed three times across all competitions in the past with Bafana holding the edge of having won two games compared to the Menas’ one victory.

The last match was however won by Niger who ran out narrow 2-1 winners which was in the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier in Niamey in September 2011.

How is how Bafana lines up:

Bafana XI: Xulu, Mphahlele, Khoza, Johannes, Jooste, Kutumela, Ndlondlo, Maema, Tlolane, Majadibodu, Dolly

Subs: Nkosi, Mashinini, Molaoa, Masuku, Thuntshane (GK), Lepasa, Dlambewu, Makaringe, Mbanjwa, Masiya

Niger XI: Kassali, Adamou, Papa, Ridouane, Kader, Danja, Moussa, Razak, Harouna, Mohamed, Goumey
