Bafana vs Guinea Starting XI Announced

Posted on August 11, 2025

South Africa have announced their starting line-up for this afternoon’s 2024 African Nations Championship Group C match against Guinea at the Mandela National Stadium in Kampala.

Bafana began the tournament with a 1-1 draw against Algeria and are now placed in fourth place in the group standings though they are only three points behind leaders Algeria with a game in hand.

Guinea on the other hand were hammered 3-0 by co-hosts Uganda which came on the back of a win against Niger.

The National Elephants have an impressive unbeaten record against South Africa with two wins and three draws in five outings and will look to keep that intact.

Here’s how they line up:

Bafana Starting XI: Xulu, Khoza, Mphahlele, Mashego, Mngonyama, Jooste, Ndlondlo, Maema (c), Masuku, Kutumela, Dolly
