Bafana Bafana have received a boost ahead of the upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers, as Lesotho will host Hugo Broos’ men in South Africa.
The Group C leaders could potentially secure their ticket for the 2026 tournament in the USA, Mexico and Canada.
They will face Lesotho on 5 September, before hosting Nigeria four days later. The Lesotho Football Association have now confirmed that they will host Bafana at Toyota Stadium in a match home away from home for them.
With the game also being take to Bloemfontein, Bafana will have two successive home matches in the Free State, which will make their preparations for the two games much easier.
Bafana currently lead Group C with 13 points from six games, five ahead of Rwanda and Benin. Nigiera follow in fourth with seven points, while Lesotho are sixth with six.
If results go the way Broos and his troops, Bafana could potentially seal the World Cup ticket this coming international break.
