Bafana Bafana star Brooks lands a move to Greece after AmaZulu exit

24-year-old Ethan Brooks has signed a deal with Greek side Panserraikos. The former Usuthu midfielder has 16 caps for Bafana Bafana. Brooks moved to AmaZulu from TS Galaxy in 2022. He featured 25 times for Arthur Zwane’s side in the 2024-2025 campaign.

“Panserraikos FC announces the start of its collaboration with international footballer Ethan Brooks, who signed a two-year contract with our team and will wear the jersey with the lion on the chest,” the club statement said.

Sundowns snap up Nuno Santos as Ribeiro replacement

Mamelodi Sundowns have signed former Benfica midfielder Nuno Santos. The attacking midfielder has represented Portugal at all age group levels but never featured for the senior side. He won the 2018 under-19 UEFA European Championships with his nation. Santos has played at several clubs in Portugal and also had a stint in the USA.

McCarthy hasn’t impressed Khanye at Kaizer Chiefs

According to former Amakhosi winger Junior Khanye, Chiefs need to reconsider their central defensive pairing of Aden McCarthy and Inacio Miguel.

“Very disappointed by this boy McCarthy. His positioning,” Khanye said as quoted by iDiski Times.

“He got the ball. He’s more focused on playing than on his priority, which is defending.
