Kaizer Chiefs winger Mduduzi Shabalala has started all three Betway Premiership matches this season. He might have made a move abroad though had it not been for the board’s intervention.

“Yes, there was interest from a team in Europe, but Kaizer Chiefs were not ready to release the player at that point, and that’s why the deal didn’t go through. But it’s true, the interest was there for Mdu (Shabalala),” a source told Soccer Laduma.

Petersen; Monyane, Miguel, McCarthy, Cross; Mthethwa, Cele; Lilepo, Ndlovu, Duba; Ighodaro.
