Amajita Talent Set For Move Abroad

Posted on July 23, 2025

Stellenbosch FC and Amajita winger Faiz Abrahams is set to join Isreali Liga Leumit side Hapoel Kfar Saba on loan for the 2025/26 season.

The 20-year-old who joined Stellenbosch from Cape Town Spurs at the start of last season has been one of the standout players in the DStv Diski Challenge over the past two seasons and has featured four times in the South African top-flight.

His immense potential was on showcase in Egypt when the South Africa U20 side won the Africa Cup of Nations in May and he’s now looking towards further his career abroad.

Kfar Saba have completed the loan deal with Stellenbosch, with no option to buy, with primarily the lure of regular first team football and a potential platform to attract bigger clubs.

He becomes the second player from the club to secure a loan move to Isreal, with Ibraheem Jabaar spending the 2023/24 season with Maccabi Petah Tikva – the club Abrahams initially trained with before Kfar Saba secured his services.
