All Teams Qualified For CAFCL Group Stages Confirmed

After Mamelodi Sundowns became the only South African side to book their ticket for the CAF Champions League group stages, here are Masandawana’s potential opponents.

Miguel Cardoso’s men beat Remo Stars from Nigeria 7-1 on aggregate, making the group stages for an 11th successive campaign.

Meanwhile, Orlando Pirates dropped out despite staging a three-goal comeback to force penalties against St. Eloi Lupopo but got knocked out on spot-kicks.

Record champions Al Ahly qualified after eliminating Aigle Noir 2-0 on aggregate, while last year’s winners Pyramids collected a 1-1 draw away at Ethiopian Medhin, and will play the second leg on 1 November.

Meanwhile ES Tunis, booked their ticket after beating Rahimo FC 4-0 on aggregate.
