All Teams Qualified For 2026 World Cup So Far

Posted on October 15, 2025

Bafana Bafana have become the 23rd nation to qualify for the 2026 FIFA World Cup after beating Rwanda 2-0 at Mbombela Stadium.

Bafana’s win over Rwanda, while Nigeria thumped Benin 3-0 saw a late swing in Group C, as Hugo Broos’ men moved back to the top of the log.

After doubts had crept following in the points deduction and the dire 0-0 draw with Zimbabwe on Friday, Bafana’s fortunes changed on Tuesday thanks to a controlled display vs Rwanda.

Hugo Broos’ men moved to the summit of Group C, with 18 points from 10 games – one ahead of Nigeria and Benin, with the Super Eagles on track book their spot among the best third-placed teams.

Also on Tuesday evening, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, England, Senegal and Ivory Coast qualified for the World Cup, making it 28 teams who have now booked their tickets.

Here are all qualified teams for the World Cup so far:

  • Co-hosts: Canada, Mexico, USA
  • AFC: Australia, IR Iran, Japan, Jordan, Korea Republic, Uzbekistan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia
  • CAF: Algeria, Cabo Verde, Egypt, Ghana, Morocco, Tunisia, South Africa
  • CONMEBOL: Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, Paraguay, Uruguay
  • OFC: New Zealand
