Marumo Gallants and Zimbabwe forward Daniel Msendani has dropped a hint that he’s keen on a move to the likes of Kaizer Chiefs or Orlando Pirates.
Msendani started their recent 2-3 defeat to Bafana at AFCON.
Msendani dreams of Kaizer Chiefs, Orlando Pirates
25-year-old Marumo Gallants striker Daniel Msendani has hinted at making his next big move. He scored three goals and assisted three for Gallants last term.
“We play to reach the top league and play for big teams. I’ll definitely keep pushing. Push very hard, and hope that as time passes, I can get an offer to reach a higher level and showcase my talent,” Msendami told the media in Morocco.
For me, the way I heard it was concrete [the interest from Chiefs and Pirates]. But I didn’t put it in mind, because if they were really interested in me, they were going to take me…
“So, I’ll keep pushing, go where I’m needed, and work very hard to score more goals in the league and keep playing like this. My contract is expiring soon, but I’m not yet clear on what’s happening. I’ll keep on pushing.”
How will Bafana Bafana lineup in the AFCON Round of 16?
Williams; Mudau, Ngezana, Mbokazi, Modiba; Mokoena, Sithole, Mbatha; Moremi, Foster, Appollis.
Meanwhile, although Bafana don’t yet know who their opponents are, it’s still worth taking a bash at how South Africa could set up. Against Zimbabwe in a chaotic 3-2 win, Broos stuck with the tried and tested back four. That comprises Khuliso Mudau, Siyabonga Ngezana, Mbekezeli Mbokazi and Aubrey Modiba. The Belgian boss opted for Teboho Mokoena and Sphephelo Sithole in a double pivot with Sipho Mbule ahead of them as a number 10. Oswin Appollis and Tshepang Moremi provided the width in attack behind Lyle Foster.
However, Mohau Nkota and Thalente Mbatha could both be used from the start, while Rele Mofokeng is also an option.
