Orlando Pirates – Say goodbye to these FOUR players?

These four Orlando Pirates stars could all be leaving the Bucs at the end of the season.

Orlando Pirates and Kaizer Chiefs will no doubt hog the transfer news headlines as the 2025/26 PSL season concludes.

In fact, a couple of Bucs players contracts are coming to an end. Meanwhile, some players have fallen out of favour with Abdeslam Ouaddou.

EXPERIENCED VETERAN ATTRACTS INTEREST WITHIN THE PSL

Makhehleni Makhaula, the 36-year-old midfielder, faces an uncertain future at Mayfair.

However, despite his age, he is not shy of suitors.

“While no final decision has yet been communicated, sources close to the situation have indicated that interest in the midfielder is already growing within PSL circles,” Soccer Laduma reported.

“The Siya crew understands that several clubs are believed to be monitoring developments around Makhaula’s situation, with his experience, leadership qualities, and consistency making him an attractive option despite his age,” they added.

CAPPED BAFANA BAFANA STARS COULD LEAVE FOR FREE

Tshegofatso Mabasa and Kabelo Dlamini are both capped Bafana Bafana stars.

However, both men have fallen out of favour with Hugo Broos and Bucs head coach Abdeslam Ouaddou.

So, in order for both/either player to return to the national set up, they will need to find a new team where they can play more frequently.

This is one of the reasons Mabasa jumped ship to join PSL rivals, Stellenbosch FC. Meanwhile, with Dlamini’s contract set to expire at the end of the season, he could join any prospective club – for free.

R9-MILLION BUCS MAN ALREADY LOOKING AT OPTIONS

As reported on The South African, Bandile Shandu is set to leave the Bucs at the end of the season.

His contract is aso coming to an end. His agent, Mike Makaab, has confirmed that they are already looking at other options for the Orlando Pirates defender.

“So, I can tell you that Shandu is unlikely to stay with Pirates when his contract comes to an end, and we are looking for other opportunities,” Makaab confirmed on FARb Post.

WHICH OF THESE STARS SHOULD LEAVE ORLANDO PIRATES AND WHO SHOULD STAY AT MAYFAIR?
